1929's vintage dress, red roses and lily wedding bouquet, year 2007 in a winery, veil and cloche for the reception.

Designer:  There’s no tags (it’s a 1929’s vintage dress). “I’m guessing it could have been homemade…”

Wedding date: April 2007
Wedding Place: Winery, the building was a church from the 1860s or 1870s
Wedding bouquet : Red roses and some kind of lily

Bride: Katharine S. L., USA
Blog: My 1920’s wedding

My dress: “I saw this dress for sale on eBay and immediately fell in love with it. From then on, I started planning a 1920s-themed wedding. I even cut my hair to make it more authentic! I found an antique wax flower wreath and had a veil made to go with the dress. In the little town where we got married, they were having an antique show the same weekend. The day before my wedding, my mom found a beautiful 1920s cloche for sale… and it was a perfect match for my dress! We bought it and I wore it for the reception.”
